We are building a new team in Bowmanville.

We have 2 casual PSWs vacancy position available in the Bowmanville area working in facilities. Job Benefits: Pay $21.00 per hour Benefits Plan available after working 30+ hours per week* 4% Vacation Pay on every pay Flexible hours The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide full scope of services to patients and defined needs, and/or predictable outcomes.

Evaluate information from patients and other sources, and work with complex needs.

Report and document unsafe conditions and behavioral, physical, and or cognitive changes to an appropriate supervisor.

Assist with medication and medication reminders.

Preparing meals for client and completing light housekeeping; such as laundry, vacuuming and mopping floors Respond to emergencies and urgent care Monitor patients' healthcare status Maintain a safe, secure and clean environment Liaise with other clinical and correctional professionals Practice in accordance with the security requirements of the facility Evaluate responses to treatment and modify the treatment plan to achieve established goals.

Monitoring care plan and adding detailed documentation with any changes and updates Responding to all emergency situations All other duties, as assigned Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to: PSW certification from an accredited college/learning centre OR additional NACC certification is preferred* Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license Valid CPR/First Aid certification Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months Satisfactory professional references Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters Please submit the appropriate documents for review.
