Job description
We are a locally owned landscaping company primarily serving residential clients throughout Chilliwack, with a focus on the Cultus Lake area. We are looking for a reliable, motivated team member who takes pride in quality work and wants to grow with a stable, professional company.
Previous experience is an asset, but attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn matter more. We value clear expectations, fair compensation, and long-term team development.
About the Role:
As a Landscaping Team Member, you will work as part of a crew delivering professional, detail-oriented service to residential clients.
Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities include:
- Lawn care and routine property maintenance (mowing, line-trimming, aeration.).
- Seasonal property clean-ups (pruning, trimming, leaf blowing / pick-up, weeding).
- Softscape installation (planting, mulching, sod installation).
- Assisting with landscape and hardscape projects (patios, pathways, grading, retaining walls).
- Learning to safely operate landscaping tools and equipment.
- Maintaining efficiency while delivering high-quality workmanship.
What We're Looking For:
- Dependable – shows up on time, everyday, ready to work, and flexibility to stay later to wrap-up a job when necessary.
- Hard-working – consistently puts in the effort physically and mentally, in all weather.
- Capable - safely working on ladders, performing ground-level tasks, and lifting up to 50 lbs, and other hands-on tasks throughout the day.
- Team-oriented – brings positive energy and helps the team succeed together.
- Teachable – eager to learn new skills and follow directions.
- Detail-oriented + efficient – balances noticing finer details while understanding the big picture and completing tasks on time.
- Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation - each day begins at our Cultus Lake meeting point.
- Landscaping, construction, or hardscape experience is beneficial but not required.
Compensation & Growth
- $23–$26/hour starting wage (based on experience and performance).
- Overtime and bonus pay.
