How You’ll Make an Impact
Promote a strong health, safety, and sustainability culture across all project sites.
Maintain and improve Health and Safety Management Systems aligned with ISO45001 standards.
Identify and address HSE issues, implementing corrective measures to ensure compliance.
Conduct and support incident investigations and follow-up actions.
Manage internal safety audits and workplace inspection programs.
Prepare and share safety performance reports and KPIs.
Coordinate environmental compliance activities and maintain ISO14001 standards.
Oversee emergency preparedness and response training programs.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
College diploma or bachelor’s degree in environmental health & safety or equivalent experience.
3–5 years of experience in occupational environmental health and safety.
Practical knowledge of ISO45001, ISO14001, and COR certification processes.
Strong understanding of provincial and federal HSE laws and regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and other digital tools.
Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of work time).
