Job description
In a world that never stops moving, our travelers rely on more than just a booking engine they rely on a master strategist who can navigate the complex skies. As an Air Agent, you aren't just processing tickets; you are the architect of seamless journeys. You serve as the critical link between complex global distribution systems and the traveler’s peace of mind, ensuring that every itinerary is optimized, every disruption is managed, and every connection is secured.

Our client, a global cornerstone of the Travel Support sector, is looking for a GDS expert who thrives on precision. Joining a team of professionals with a high-energy culture that values creativity, integrity, and the "fun" in functional excellence.

Role: Air Agent (Remote Travel Support Specialist)
Training: 2 weeks of comprehensive, paid professional integration + Ongoing educational refreshers and GDS updates

Location: 100% Remote (Available to talent across Canada).
Schedule: 40 hours/week. Rotating shifts Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 6 PM PST. (Occasional Saturdays).

Salary: $22.00 per hour + Monetary & Non-monetary Rewards Program.

Employment Type: Full-time contract, with the possibility of permanency after probation

Advantages
Why You’ll Love This Role

Forget the commute. This is a 100% remote position designed for focused, independent professionals.

This is not a standard call center role; it is a specialized technical position where your Amadeus mastery is the star of the show.

Work in an environment where you are empowered to take the initiative and are recognized for your individual contribution to the team's success.

Stay ahead of the industry with ongoing GDS updates and educational refreshers

Responsibilities
Utilize preferred airline suppliers to build and present optimized air itineraries that balance cost, efficiency, and traveler needs.

Masterfully navigate Amadeus queues to monitor ticket requirements, process exchanges, and handle full or partial refunds with surgical precision.

Proactively manage schedule changes to ensure zero disruption to the traveler. You are the one who fixes the problem before the traveler even knows it exists.

Execute all ARC/BSP documentation and maintain rigorous up-to-date knowledge of airline contracts to ensure the best utilization of preferred supplier agreements.

Collaborate with internal partners to explain travel restrictions, rules, and safety tips, ensuring every stakeholder is informed and prepared.

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years in the travel industry (Airline, Retail, or TMC).

Extensive knowledge of Amadeus GDS (Ticketing and Reissuing is a must).

Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Teams.

TICO certification is required (OPC certification is mandatory for Quebec-based candidates).

An independent, fast learner who can maintain high accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

A dedicated home office with a reliable wired internet connection.

Summary
Ready to clear for takeoff?

If you are a solutions-focused professional who speaks the language of GDS (Amadeus) and lives for the details, we want to meet you. Help us redefine what world-class travel support looks like.
