Job descriptionExperience with common CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, AEM) and custom CMS backends / internally created CMSs. Experience working with Contentful CMS Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic backend development Familiarity with databases and system integrations Experience working with Contentful CMS. Solid understanding of API integrations and web technologies (e.g., REST, GraphQL). Proficiency with JavaScript (Node.js, React.js, or similar frameworks) .Net Framework is a plus. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js) is beneficial.
Role : CMS (Content Management System) Developer
Contract length : 6 months (possible extension)
Location : Toronto (Dufferin / King)
Hybrid policy : 3x per week on-site
Hours per day : 7.5
Start : February
Rate : 60-70 / hr incorporated (depends on expertise level and experience)
Interview Process : 2 rounds
Client company : telecommunication / internet provider
Job Summary
The CMS Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting content management systems used across the company’s digital platforms. The role ensures efficient content delivery, system stability, and a positive user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain CMS platforms
- Support content publishing and workflow requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve CMS-related issues
- Ensure system performance, security, and reliability
- Collaborate with designers, content teams, and IT staff
- Focus on : Contentful Integration & Configuration, Content Modelling& Management, API Integration, Content Migration, and Performance Optimization
