Senior LMS Procurement Consultant to assist with new LMS assessment and testing for a non-profit client

Our valued non-profit client is seeking a Senior LMS Procurement Consultant to assist with new LMS assessment and testing!

Initial 12 month part-time contract (~ hours of work split throughout the year). Hours to be determined on an ad-hoc basis. % remote.

Our client currently intends to replace its current learning management system (LMS) to better support the organization's external-facing learning products. Following completion of the LMS requirements work, our client intends to run a structured tendering exercise beginning in March to identify and select an LMS vendor. As the successful candidate, you will provide dedicated project management and specialist support to the organization's Education team and Procurement team through the LMS RFP activities, including vendor shortlisting, evaluation, and testing.

Responsibilities:

• Provide consulting support for the LMS tendering exercise, including:
• Assessing questionnaire responses and recommending a shortlist for use case presentations
• Coordinating presentation logistics
• Developing and briefing the team on an evaluation rubric
• Attending and facilitating vendor presentations and coordinating follow-up questions
• Updating RFP documentation based on findings
• Coordinating the full RFP stage and serving as primary point of contact for vendors as requested
• Reviewing and analyzing RFP submissions and presenting findings
• Supporting and facilitating in-depth interviews
• Developing test plans and test cases
• Project managing the testing period
• Supporting selection of the final vendor
• Providing ongoing project management, documentation, and status tracking for the full RFP process.

Must-have- Skills

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in procurement advisory, strategic sourcing, or RFP management for enterprise software solutions.
• Proven experience leading or supporting at least two LMS procurement/tendering exercises of comparable size and complexity.
• Experience coordinating vendor testing environments, developing test plans and test cases, and managing structured pilot/testing periods.
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-stage RFP processes, including shortlist evaluations, vendor presentations, testing phases, and final vendor selection.
• Experience developing and applying evaluation rubrics, scoring methodologies, and weighted evaluation frameworks.
• Experience reviewing and analyzing complex vendor submissions and presenting structured findings to senior stakeholders.
