Job Description: Role Title: OT Network Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
• Configure and deploy OT network equipment (Cisco switches/routers, industrial models, Palo Alto firewalls) across Calgary field facilities.
• Implement and support OT segmentation aligned with the Purdue Model (zone/conduit design, firewall policies, VLANs).
• Build, configure, and troubleshoot Aruba/SilverPeak SD WAN and integrate with existing OT/wide area networks.
• Design and validate routing architecture using OSPF/BGP/EIGRP for high availability and resiliency.
• Perform on site cabling verification, testing, and coordination with contractors to ensure compliance with standards.
• Configure and optimize WAN links including satellite, wireless, and APN connections for remote sites.
• Develop network design documents, implementation plans, runbooks, and as built documentation.
• Support cutovers, migrations, and commissioning of OT networks at field sites with minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot network issues across L1–L3 layers, including OT specific constraints and isolated networks.
• Collaborate with security, servers, OT, and field teams to deliver stable and secure site networking.
Must Have:
• Strong experience working in OT/industrial environments with solid understanding of the Purdue Model.
• Hands on expertise with Cisco switching & routing, including industrial ruggedized platforms (IE switches).
• Experience with Aruba/SilverPeak SD WAN (configuration, orchestration, tuning).
• Solid knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
• Familiarity with network cabling standards, testing, and certification processes.
