Working model: Office-based with coordination across Québec
Salary: $65,000–$70,000 annually
Eligibility: Valid driver’s license required

About the role
Our client is delivering a large-scale residential energy efficiency program across Québec and is seeking a Residential Field Specialist to support technical review and quality assurance activities.
In this role, you will apply your field experience to review, validate, and confirm the accuracy of documentation related to installed energy efficiency measures completed by program delivery partners. You will play a key role in ensuring that reported installations align with program requirements, technical standards, and compliance criteria.
This position is well suited to a technically experienced professional who understands residential energy efficiency installations and enjoys analytical, detail-oriented work that supports program integrity and performance.

Key responsibilities
As a Residential Field Specialist, you will:
• Review and validate documentation for installed residential energy efficiency measures
• Assess photos, measurements, reports, and supporting materials submitted by delivery partners
• Confirm that reported installations align with approved measures, technical specifications, and program requirements
• Identify documentation gaps, inconsistencies, or technical issues and flag them for follow-up
• Apply practical field knowledge to assess the accuracy and completeness of reported work
• Prepare internal QA/QC findings, summaries, and technical notes
• Track review outcomes and maintain accurate records in internal systems
• Collaborate with internal program, operations, and quality teams to support compliance and continuous improvement

Qualifications & experience
Strong candidates will bring:
• High school diploma or associate’s degree; relevant technical or trade background is an asset
• 4+ years of experience in HVAC, electrical, building systems, energy efficiency, inspections, or related technical fields
• Experience reviewing installations, audits, inspections, or technical documentation
• Familiarity with residential energy efficiency programs in Québec or North America
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license
