Contrôleur(e) adjoint(e)

Our client, a well-established company in the construction sector, is seeking a Controleur(e) adjoint(e) to join their team. As a Controleur(e) adjoint(e), you will be part of the finance department supporting project management and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, autonomy, and reliability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Controleur(e) adjoint(e)

Location: Québec, QC (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $90000 - $100000

What's the Job?

• Support the financial management team in daily accounting processes
• Participate in the full accounting cycle and month-end closing procedures
• Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Ensure tax compliance (TPS/TVQ, DAS, etc.) and produce related reports
• Assist in project cost tracking, budgets, and progress reports

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in accounting, ideally within the construction industry (DEC or BAC in accounting or finance)
• Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle
• Attention to detail, autonomy, and consistency in work quality
• Proficiency with accounting software (Maestro, Vision, Acomba, Dynacon, Sage, etc.)
• Knowledge of payroll processes is an asset
