Job Title: Middleware Administrator – WebSphere/WebLogic (AWS & Terraform)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Middleware Administrator (Assistant Consultant level) responsible for middleware patching, application server administration, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of enterprise middleware environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, and cloud-based infrastructure, along with solid operating system and scripting knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Middleware Administration & Patching

• Perform middleware patching and upgrades across environments
  

• Administer and manage application servers including WebSphere, WebLogic, and Tomcat
  

• Manage JVM configurations and performance tuning
  

• Handle SSL certificate installation and lifecycle management
  

Platform & OS Support

• Provide support across Linux (including AIX) and Windows environments
  

• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for middleware-related issues
  

Automation & Scripting

• Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation tasks
  

• Basic scripting using Python / Jython (Good to have)
  

• Utilize automation tools for configuration and deployment
  

DevOps & Cloud Tools

• Work with Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins (Good to have)
  

• Support deployments in AWS Cloud environments
  

• Ensure environment stability, scalability, and security compliance
  

Essential Skills

• Strong experience as a Middleware Administrator
  

• Hands-on experience with:
  

  • IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
    

  • Oracle WebLogic
    

  • Apache Tomcat
    

• JVM tuning and configuration knowledge
  

• SSL certificate management
  

• Strong working experience in:
  

  • RedHat Linux / AIX
    

  • Windows OS
    

• Shell scripting expertise
  

• Exposure to AWS Cloud Computing
  

• Knowledge of Terraform
  

Desirable Skills
