Rate of Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent (Conversion after 3 months)

Responsibilities
• Managing full-cycle Accounts Payable, including vendor inquiries and reconciliation.
• Overseeing Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely billing and payment application.
• Processing Canadian payroll accurately and ensuring compliance with provincial regulations.
• Supporting the senior accounting team with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Assisting with tax filings and internal audit preparations as needed.

Qualifications
• At least 2 years of accounting experience (AP, AR, and Canadian Payroll)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of Canadian accounting principles and payroll legislation.
• Professional communication skills for client and vendor interactions.
• An accounting certification or diploma is considered a strong asset.
• Prior experience in Professional Services or Financial Services is preferred.
