Le programme d'avions commerciaux A220 recherche un(e) professionnel(le) de performance du moteur pour rejoindre notre équipe basée à Mirabel (Québec, Canada).

L'organisation de l'équipe est établie de manière à promouvoir la collaboration transversale de manière autonome, en se soutenant mutuellement et en apprenant collectivement.

Votre rôle en tant que *Professionnel en performance du moteur* consistera principalement à vous impliquer dans le développement et l'amélioration de la plate-forme A220 actuelle et des capacités d'ingénierie de notre organisation. Le poste implique une interface avec les différents Centres de Compétences (CoC) d'Airbus sur d'autres plateformes, et la promotion de la synergie entre les CoC. Vous pourrez également être assigné à travailler sur des tâches de thermodynamique au besoin.

• Vos défis : *
• Effectuer le calcul, l'analyse et la documentation relatifs à la performance du moteur (poussée, consommation de carburant) et potentiellement à l'opérabilité et aux émissions tout au long des phases du programme (futurs projets et pré-développement, développement, certification, qualification, en service et développement continu);
• Participer au développement des caractéristiques de performance du moteur et assurer l'interface avec d'autres fonctions internes et les fournisseurs;
• Soutenir la réduction des données d'essais en vol, leur examen et leur documentation;
• Fournir un soutien technique aux enquêtes en service;
• Rédiger des rapports démontrant la conformité avec la réglementation en matière de navigabilité;
• Participer à la transformation des capacités d'ingénierie d'Airbus Canada;
• Potentiellement effectuer la modélisation et l'analyse thermodynamique détaillée au besoin.
• Votre profil : *
• Détenir un Baccalauréat ou une Maîtrise (préférablement) en génie aérospatial ou mécanique avec des connaissances et une expérience pratique en performance du moteur, concepts de thermodynamique et cycles;
• Posséder une connaissance pratique de Python, MatLab, Fortran et / ou des langages de programmation similaires, ainsi qu'une expérience avec un environnement de travail UNIX;
• Avoir de solides compétences en organisation et en pensée analytique axées sur l'amélioration des processus et le partage des connaissances;
• Démontrer des compétences avancées en rédaction technique et en communication efficace pour un environnement multidisciplinaire;
• Faire preuve d'initiative, d'un sens aigu des responsabilités et d'un bon jugement, avec la capacité de travailler de manière autonome;
• Être un joueur d'équipe à l'aise dans un environnement de travail multidisciplinaire et au rythme rapide;
• Avoir une familiarité avec les normes de l'industrie, les exigences de certification et les documents d'orientation pertinents (un atout).

Ce poste peut impliquer des déplacements occasionnels pour affaires. D'éventuelles périodes d'astreinte sont possibles les week-ends et / ou pendant les vacances.

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for an engine performance professional to join our Engine Performance team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada).

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as an *Engine Performance Professional* will consist mainly of being involved with the development and improvement of the current A220 platform and the engineering capabilities of our organization. The job involves interfacing with the various Centre of Competence (CoC) across Airbus on other platforms, and promoting the synergy between the CoC’s. You may also be assigned to work on thermodynamics tasks as needed.

• Your challenges : *
• Perform calculation, analysis and documentation related to powerplant performance (thrust, fuel consumption) and potentially operability & emission all along the program phases (future projects and predevelopment, development, certification, qualification, in service and continuous development);
• Be involved in the development of powerplant performance characteristics and interface with other internal functions and suppliers;
• Support flight test data reduction, review and documentation;
• Provide engineering support to in-service investigations;
• Write reports demonstrating compliance with airworthiness regulations;
• Participate in the transformation of Airbus Canada engineering capabilities;
• Potentially perform detailed thermodynamics modeling and analysis as needed.
• Your boarding pass : *
• Hold a Bachelor's or preferably Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with proven knowledge and hands-on experience in engine performance, thermodynamics concepts, and cycles;
• Working knowledge of Python, MatLab, Fortran, and / or similar programming languages, and experience with a UNIX work environment;
• Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills focused on process improvement and knowledge sharing;
• Advanced technical writing and effective communication skills for a multi-disciplinary environment;
• Proven initiative, strong sense of responsibility, and sound judgment, with the ability to work autonomously;
• A team player comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary working environment;
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, certification requirements, and guidance material (asset).

This role may involve occasional travels for business. Possible on-call duties after hours, during week-ends and / or holiday seasons.
