Job description
I have a respectful and welcoming family, and we are in need of a full-time, live-out nanny to work weekdays to care for our two small children, an infant (10 months old) and a toddler (3 years old). Note that our toddler goes to daycare or her grandparent's house for half days. The start time is early in the morning since my husband and I both have to be downtown early for work. We are offering a competitive hourly rate of $25.00/hour to work 40 hours/week. It is important to us that we find someone who will truly feel like part of our family! Schedule: • Start date: ASAP • March: Mon–Fri, 7:45AM – 4:15PM • April and going forward: Mon–Fri, 6:45AM – 3:15PM • *schedules above include a half-hour paid break Responsibilities: • Wake up children, assist toddler with the potty, dress children • Assemble and serve breakfast for children • Drive toddler to daycare o The baby will have to come along for the car ride o Nanny is to drive our family’s provided/approved vehicle only (any fuel costs would be covered) • Assemble and serve lunch for the baby (and sometimes the toddler as well) • Baby duties include bottle feeding, nap time, playtime, snack time • Changing diapers and potty cleaning • Light housekeeping duties o Tidying up after mealtimes (wiping down highchairs, counters, floor) o Dishwasher - filling and emptying when clean o Laundry for children’s clothing & bedding • Washing fruits and vegetables • Making/preparing children's snacks • Cutting vegetables to help with dinner prep • Spring/Summer – take children for walks such as to the park • Winter – handle the humidifiers in children's bedrooms • Plan activities with the children • Keep our house neat, tidy and running smoothly • Follow parents’ routines, rules, and discipline Requirements • Drivers license • Legal status as a resident in Canada • English speaking • Scent-free environment • Non-smoking • First aid and CPR trained • Training as a Personal Support Worker or an Early Childhood Educator would be an asset • Will be asking for 1-2 references Other information • We have two rabbits • In the late Springtime, we will be moving to a new home in the Bluffs approximately ten minutes away from our current location in West Hill Please visit https://canadiannanny.ca/jobs/experienced-nanny-needed-in-toronto-28hr-apply-today-canadian-job-on to view full details and to apply.
