Responsibilities
Pharmacist - Unique Setting - Community + Compounding + Medication Management (LTC Services) - Vancouver Island, BC - Full-Time, Permanent - Healthcare
Support oversight and actively participate in the daily data entry process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Monitor and support pharmacy assistants, providing guidance on typing and workflow management.
Supervise the general pharmacy workflow to maintain high standards of patient safety and service.
Support management of front-end operations and step to the counter to handle patient interactions when required.
Perform clinical services including routine vaccinations and standard pharmacy consultations.
Ensure the seamless integration of back-of-pharmacy/production area oversight with front-end patient care.
Maintain a dependable presence to support the pharmacy's growth and operational consistency.
Qualifications

Must-Haves:
Valid Pharmacist License in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
Strong operational mindset with a deep understanding of pharmacy workflow.
Proven ability to supervise and manage support staff in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort and proficiency with participating in data entry (Kroll including billing and adjudication) and administrative oversight.
Excellent communication skills for managing both internal teams and patient interactions.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience working in highly organized, deadline-oriented environments such as Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy setting.
Previous experience in high-volume retail pharmacy environments.
