Part-Time Nanny / Mother’s Helper Needed (15–20 Hours / Week)
We are a warm, pet-friendly family seeking a reliable and caring part-time nanny / mother’s helper to support our family with two children, ages 9 and 11, in North Oshawa.
Schedule :
15–20 hours per week (primarily weekday afternoons). Availability needs to be from 2 : 30pm-6pm.
Open to full time hours for the summer for the right candidate.
Responsibilities Include :
Picking up children from school and / or summer camp daily and walking them home (approximately 1.5 km)
Providing care on days when children are unable to attend school (summer camp in summer)
Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
Supervising after-school activities and play
Tidying up any messes created during playtime
What We’re Looking For :
Responsible, dependable, and punctual
Experience caring for school-aged children
Comfortable in a pet-friendly home (We have 2 large dogs)
Able to engage children in age-appropriate activities
Clear communication skills
Recent police check including vulnerable sector
Up to date first aid care
Location : North Oshawa
Access to public transit is available
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys spending time with older children and is looking for consistent, part-time hours in a supportive family environment. Open to students looking for part time work and summer hours.
