Job description
We’re looking for a long term warm, reliable nanny / family helper to support our family starting around May (flexible for the right fit). We have two young children — a toddler and a preschooler — and are hoping to find someone who enjoys both childcare and helping keep a home running smoothly. We’re open to either part-time (2 days/week) or full-time depending on fit, availability, and what works best for both sides. --- Schedule (Flexible) • 2–5 weekdays per week • Approx. 8:30/9:00 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM • ~15–40 hours/week depending on role structure --- Childcare Responsibilities • Caring for our toddler during the day • School/daycare pickup for our preschooler (if applicable) • Engaging play, outings, walks, and age-appropriate activities • Supporting nap routine • Preparing snacks/meals for the kids --- Family Helper Support (during naps / activities) • Children’s laundry • Light household laundry • Dishes / kitchen reset • Light tidying of play areas • Meal prep / snack prep • General household support We have professional cleaners, so no deep cleaning is required — just day-to-day upkeep. --- Other Notes • We have a friendly medium-sized dog, so comfort around dogs is important (no pet care beyond letting him in/out if needed). --- Ideal Fit • Warm, patient, and dependable • Experience with toddlers/preschoolers • Comfortable balancing childcare light home help • CPR/First Aid (preferred) • Driver’s license (asset but not required) --- Compensation • $22–25/hour depending on experience • Paid cash or payroll (open to discussion) We’re a respectful, appreciative family and value open communication.
