Windows/Linux Systems Administrator – Cloud Focus (AWS/Azure)

Position Description:

CGI is a forward-thinking organization committed to delivering robust IT infrastructure solutions. We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator with expertise in both Windows and Linux environments and hands-on experience managing cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows and Linux servers across on-premises and cloud environments.

Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure), including provisioning, scaling, and performance tuning.

Implement and maintain system security, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.

Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

Troubleshoot system and network issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Maintain documentation for systems configurations, procedures, and policies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

3-5 years of experience in systems administration (Windows and Linux).

Hands on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, VMs, Resource Groups, etc.).

Hands on experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).

Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.
