What your weeks are going to look like
- Design and integration of complex interface systems directly in Unreal (UMG/Slate);
- Visual research;
- Creation and optimization of custom shaders and materials for advanced visual effects;
- Collaboration with designers, artists, and programmers to solve multi-platform integration challenges;
- Debugging, profiling, and UI optimization to ensure smooth performance on PC, consoles, and other platforms;
- Improvement of the UI pipeline and documentation of best practices for the team.
Qualifications
What we're looking for
- College degree in graphic design, multimedia, or any other relevant field;
- Five (5) or more years of experience in interface design for video games;
- Excellent proficiency with Unreal UMG and Blueprints (Slate is an asset);
- Experience with Unreal animation systems, an asset;
- Advanced skills in shader/material creation;
- Strong understanding of UX and interaction design principles;
- Interest in complex technical challenges and optimization;
- English proficiency required, as we collaborate with English-speaking partners;
- Portfolio and/or demo required.
