Intermediate Power BI developer to support continuous delivery, enterprise system modernization, and data integrity across complex platforms

Our valued client is looking for an Intermediate Power BI developer to support continuous delivery, enterprise system modernization, and data integrity across complex platforms

This is a fully remote position (eastern time zone)

Tasks include:

• Design and Build Power BI Solutions: Develop robust Power BI datasets, semantic models, DAX measures, and governed dashboards/reports to support business intelligence needs
• Data Integration: Work with SQL Server and other data sources to ensure seamless integration and accurate data representation for analytics and reporting
• Collaboration: Partner with business areas, product owners, and other agile team members to drive adoption of reporting and analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with user and business needs
• Agile Delivery: Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives), contribute to backlog refinement, and deliver iterative releases of business intelligence solutions
• Source Control and CI/CD: Utilize git for source control and collaborate in a CI/CD pipeline to ensure rapid, consistent deployments and high-quality deliverables
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and technical improvements, proactively manage risks, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of business intelligence capabilities
• Provide guidance where opportunities exist to improve practice

Must have:

• Experience building Power BI reports and datasets (5 years)
• Experience developing semantic models, DAX measures, and governed dashboards/reports (3 years)
• Experience working with business areas to drive reporting and analytics adoption (2 years)
• Experience using source control, particularly git, in collaborative software development (2 years)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (1 year)
• Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, SQL Server, and data modeling
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools
