Chez ArcelorMittal, nous recherchons une personne pour nous rejoindre à l’avant-garde de l’industrie de l’acier. En tant que Représentant vente, externe, vous aurez des opportunités de développement passionnantes pour promouvoir ce produit d’acier avancé et durable, en collaborant avec une équipe multidisciplinaire et en accompagnant nos clients dans leur transition vers l’électrification et la neutralité carbone.
Au sein de notre équipe des ventes de fil machine, vos contributions seront visibles partout : dans l’entreprise et auprès de nos clients stratégiques. En tant que représentant d’ArcelorMittal Wire, vous soutiendrez des interactions clients harmonisées et contribuerez au succès de notre activité Produits longs chez AMPLC.

Votre rôle :

  • Soutenir l’organisation des ventes et du marketing pour identifier et cibler activement des clients stratégiques dans les marchés automobile et non automobile, en lien avec notre offre de produits, nos capacités et nos objectifs.
  • Développer, entretenir et renforcer les relations clients par des visites régulières en personne, incluant des activités de représentation, répondre aux besoins de service, solliciter de nouvelles affaires pour atteindre les objectifs du plan de ventes, gérer le processus contractuel et communiquer les exigences et attentes des clients. Rédiger des rapports de visite et recueillir les points clés, informations de marché, etc.
  • Soutenir les équipes internes et les clients lors des lancements de produits et des activités de développement commercial, qualifications commerciales, essais, etc.
  • Élaborer et gérer des plans de comptes pour les clients assignés, incluant des profils clients et des plans d’action alignés sur la stratégie de l’entreprise et les objectifs commerciaux et marketing.
  • Suivre la performance par rapport aux objectifs de ventes et autres indicateurs. Identifier et mettre en œuvre des actions correctives et soutenir les efforts d’amélioration continue.
  • Surveiller la satisfaction client via les indicateurs de livraison et de qualité, les retours réguliers et des stratégies pour renforcer la relation.
  • Négocier les questions quotidiennes liées aux clients et être capable d’interagir et d’influencer le client sur des sujets tels que réclamations, transport, etc.
  • Participer à une équipe transversale (commerciale, technique, manufacturière) pour atteindre les objectifs stratégiques et tactiques liés à la rentabilité, aux volumes, aux prix, à la qualité, à la livraison, au service, au développement produit et à l’implication précoce des fournisseurs.
  • Examiner et gérer régulièrement les KPI et autres indicateurs exigés par les clients, assurer le maintien des notes et communiquer les résultats aux clients et aux équipes internes.
  • Fournir divers rapports mensuels selon les besoins.
  • Assister les représentants du service client, R&D et service technique client pour toute préoccupation liée aux comptes assignés.
  • Travailler en équipe en offrant un soutien aux collègues et participer à des projets et missions spéciales.
  • Soutenir les objectifs internes tels que la gestion des stocks, la performance des paiements et le recouvrement des factures, et expliquer les écarts entre les prévisions et les volumes facturés.
  • Répondre aux demandes de service client (produits, livraison, disponibilité, statut des commandes, demandes de devis incluant achats ponctuels).
  • Être l’expert produit pour le client et identifier/communiquer les besoins et performances du client en interne.
  • Communiquer toutes les informations commerciales, de marché et clients à l’organisation des ventes et du marketing.
  • Contribuer à la planification annuelle (ABP), mettre à jour les prévisions mensuelles (MRF) et planifier activement les appels de vente via l’outil CRM.
  • Analyser les clients et le marché en comprenant les capacités d’ArcelorMittal NA et des concurrents, les tendances de prix, la performance et les facteurs non liés au prix.

Exigence

  • Diplôme universitaire en administration des affaires, ventes, marketing, ingénierie ou domaine connexe.
  • Disponibilité pour voyager 30 à 40 % du temps selon les comptes assignés et capacité à se déplacer (présence au bureau 4 jours/semaine hors déplacements).
  • Expertise en ventes et gestion de comptes.
  • Connaissance et expérience dans le domaine de l’acier.
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft.
  • Excellentes compétences en gestion du temps et organisation, avec capacité à travailler selon des horaires non traditionnels.
  • Solides aptitudes interpersonnelles et excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite.

Qualités recherchées :

  • Expérience en ventes d’acier.
  • Expérience en lancement de produits et développement de nouvelles affaires.
  • Maîtrise des tableaux croisés dynamiques, MS Teams et autres outils MS Office.

Profile sought: External Sales Representative

At ArcelorMittal, we are looking for someone to join us at the forefront of the steel industry. As an External Sales Representative, you will have exciting development opportunities to promote this advanced and sustainable steel product, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and supporting our clients in their transition toward electrification and carbon neutrality.

Within our wire rod sales team, your contributions will be visible everywhere—within the company and among our strategic clients. As a representative of ArcelorMittal Wire, you will support harmonized customer interactions and contribute to the success of our Long Products business at AMPLC.

Your role:

  • Support the sales and marketing organization in identifying and actively targeting strategic customers in automotive and non-automotive markets, aligned with our product offering, capabilities, and objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships through regular in-person visits, including representation activities, responding to service needs, soliciting new business to achieve sales plan objectives, managing the contract process, and communicating customer requirements and expectations. Prepare visit reports and collect key insights and market information.
  • Support internal teams and customers during product launches and business development activities, commercial qualifications, trials, etc.
  • Develop and manage account plans for assigned customers, including profiles and action plans aligned with the company’s strategy and commercial and marketing objectives.
  • Monitor performance against sales targets and other indicators. Identify and implement corrective actions and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction through delivery and quality indicators, regular feedback, and strategies to strengthen the relationship.
  • Negotiate day-to-day customer-related issues and be able to interact with and influence the customer on topics such as claims, transportation, etc.
  • Participate in a cross-functional team (commercial, technical, manufacturing) to achieve strategic and tactical objectives related to profitability, volumes, pricing, quality, delivery, service, product development, and early supplier involvement.
  • Review and regularly manage customer-required KPIs and other indicators, ensuring ratings are maintained and communicating results internally and to customers.
  • Provide various monthly reports as required.
  • Assist customer service representatives, R&D, and technical service for any concerns related to assigned accounts.
  • Work as a team player by supporting colleagues and participating in special projects and assignments.
  • Support internal objectives such as inventory management, payment performance, and invoice collection, and explain variances between forecasts and invoiced volumes.
  • Respond to customer service requests (products, delivery, availability, order status, quote requests including spot buys).
  • Act as the product expert for the customer and identify/communicate customer needs and performance internally.
  • Communicate all commercial, market, and customer information to the sales and marketing organization.
  • Contribute to annual planning (ABP), update monthly forecasts (MRF), and actively plan sales calls through the CRM tool.
  • Analyze customers and the market by understanding ArcelorMittal NA and competitor capabilities, pricing trends, performance, and non-price factors.
  • Monitor market information daily, weekly, and monthly, including trend analysis and forecasting.

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, sales, marketing, engineering, or related field
  • Availability to travel 30–40% of the time depending on assigned accounts, and ability to commute (presence in the office 4 days/week outside travel)
  • Expertise in sales and account management
  • Knowledge and experience in the steel industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work non-traditional hours
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication abilities
