Job description
Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional looking for a part time temporary receptionist opportunity? Our client in Langford, BC, is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to assist their team from mid-March to mid-May.

This role offers a flexible part-time schedule of approximately two days per week (Monday and Thursday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with flexibility for shorter days if preferred), followed by full-time coverage for a few weeks in May.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a professional office setting, supporting a dynamic team with administrative tasks such as scheduling, client interactions, phone management, document scanning, and data entry. Position: Temporary Receptionist (Part-time)
Location: Langford, BC
Duration: Immediate start to TBD
Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday, Tuesday and Friday
Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Responsibilities
• Answering phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages.
• Handling basic bookkeeping tasks ( petty cash)
• Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports.
• Helping prepare for meetings.

Qualifications
• Proven experience in a reception/admin environment.
• In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
• Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
• Professional level verbal and written communications skills
