We are reviewing candidates for two potential arrangements :

A locally based nanny position for Newmarket, ON.

A travel-ready nanny who is open to extended stays (3 months) with our family.

We are seeking a professional, experienced nanny to care for our 18-month-old son. Our child is active, energetic, and curious, so this role requires someone who is physically engaged, attentive, and confident working with toddlers.

We are looking for a nanny who brings together professional competence, genuine kindness, and a sense of fun, and who practices a respectful, nurturing approach while actively supporting a child’s development. If that's you, we'd love to hear from you!

What We’re Looking For :

• Proven experience as a nanny or in childcare
• Relevant education, credentials, or training in childcare or education
• A kind, patient, emotionally attuned caregiver who genuinely enjoys being with children
• A respectful, gentle approach that prioritizes safety, trust, and connection
• Ability to engage the child in fun, age-appropriate activities that support physical, emotional, and cognitive development
• Christian values are essential
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Trustworthy and respectful of family boundaries and home
• Physically active and able to keep up with an energetic toddler
• Willingness to follow parents’ guidance and values in upbringing

Responsibilities :

• Providing attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care
• Planning and engaging in fun, development-supportive activities (movement, play, language, fine and gross motor skills)
• Active play, outdoor walks, and structured daily routines
• Supporting daily routines (meals, naps, hygiene)
• Maintaining a calm, safe, and organized environment
• Child-related household support, including : cleaning up after meals, tidying toys and play areas, sorting laundry and doing dishes during nap time or when manageable, etc.
• Ability to prepare simple, healthy meals on occasion

Additional Details :

• We are open to two candidate types : a local nanny or a nanny willing to travel internationally for 3 month assignments.
• Ability to commute to Newmarket
• Fluency in Russian would be a strong asset, but not a requirement.
