Healthy Weight Dietitian

We are expanding our thriving dietetic led weight management service in Argyll and Bute HSCP. As our Child Healthy Weight Dietitian, you will be an integral member of the Argyll and Bute wide service so base will be negotiable within our locality and remote working would be supported.

Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership span the beautiful rural west coast of Scotland, managing acute, primary, community health, mental health and social care services across the area. These services are provided to around 88,050 people across 6,909 sq. km. The partnership serves a diverse range of settlements including 6 towns, 46 villages, 156 small settlements and 26 inhabited islands.

We share tertiary pathways with our colleagues in Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS bases within our locality are commutable from Glasgow and the Inverclyde area.

Candidates should possess a Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council; The postholder will be supervised by the Weight Management Specialist Dietitian and will be an integral member of our wider pan locality Dietetic Team. We are a friendly and proactive team, and the post offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and experience in this specialist area.

The post holder should have excellent inter-personal and communications skills and the ability to demonstrate good team working as well as being able to work autonomously are required.

Full driving licence is essential.
