We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Broker (Client Service Representative) - Global Services, Insurance to join our team in our Montreal office!

As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting the Client Executive and/or Team Leader in meeting the Canadian service requirements of international accounts in conjunction with various non-Canadian domiciled sourcing brokers by developing and maintaining excellent client and source broker relationships.

Your day as client service representative

• Work directly with foreign broker partners and their foreign clients who are investing in, or have existing operations, within Canada.
• Ensure that service proficiency and standards are met with all broker partners and clients, in alignment with our Global Services mandate.
• Handle day-to-Day account service and oversight including marketing campaigns, presentations, clerical work, and insurance placements.
• Conduct coverage comparisons, due diligence and contract reviews.
• Follow up with underwriters, broker-dealers, and clients on unresolved files.
• Collaborate with Client Service Managers and/or the Client Executive to negotiate changes, renewals and new businesses (if applicable) with insurers.
• Request missing information, endorsements, and policy documents from insurers and perform the proper follow-ups.
• Maintain renewal lists, registers, and records of the policies so that they are organized and up to date.
• Ensure maximum retention of existing customers by providing exceptional service through regular communication with customers to verify the quality of service delivered as well as meeting and exceeding their expectations.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of 2 years of insurance brokerage experience and a solid understanding of commercial property, liability, and auto insurance.
• Insurance Broker licensed by the AMF.
• Previous experience with Risk Management Insurance Programs, an asset.
• Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and in English as the candidate will be required to interact in English with stakeholders (colleagues and clients) outside Quebec.
• Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
• Knowledge of EPIC software, an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
