Business Analyst with data visualization skills

Salary: $110,000 - 115,000 per year

Requirements:

• University degree in a relevant discipline
• Minimum of one year of experience in a financial institution as a Business Analyst
• Comfortable serving as the main point of contact for business clients, with the ability to comprehend and document their needs and priorities
• Strong willingness to learn and contribute innovative solutions to the team
• A curious mindset, continuously seeking to understand business challenges and identify effective solutions
• Capacity to think critically and creatively, exploring various approaches to problem-solving
• Proficient in reading and ideally making minor modifications to Python scripts
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Capability to analyze and offer / accept constructive criticism.
• Functional and Technical Skills (Required):
• Knowledge of Investment Banking
• Proficiency in drafting technical documents and structured emails
• Good practical understanding of SQL
• Ability to construct queries that join data across multiple tables for analysis and testing
• Capability to interpret stored procedures during investigations
• Experience using PowerBI
• Familiarity with data integration methods (API, Databases, ETL, Files, etc.)
• Experience in Python scripting for automation, data manipulation, and troubleshooting
• Ability to create and maintain scripts that support business analysis and enhance operational efficiency
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including command-line troubleshooting and script execution

Responsibilities:

• Provide functional support to risk analysts and front office personnel regarding credit risk processes
• Gather and prioritize requirements from business partners in alignment with directives from the Product Owner
• Conduct data analysis to better understand requirements, define solutions, and assist in testing
• Effectively communicate findings to users and management for the purpose of enabling optimal solutions
• Work collaboratively with users and other business analysts to grasp user needs and translate requirements into actionable solutions
• Create functional specifications and document system and process workflows
• Ensure adherence to agile methodologies and practices of continuous delivery
• Confirm that features are thoroughly tested and all necessary artifacts are produced
• Coordinate and execute project phases across different environments, presenting test results to users
• Collaborate closely with team members located in other regions (e.g., US, France, India)
