Fire and Alarm Technician

Tasks

• Conduct inspections at client sites and maintain Siemens systems as well as other recognized systems.
• Use a multimeter and other diagnostic tools to perform measurements and checks.
• Respond to certain service calls.
• Complete your intervention reports and weekly follow-ups in Excel.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service.
• Contribute to various related tasks as needed.

Job requirements

• Diploma of vocational studies in installation and maintenance of security systems.
• Functional knowledge of Excel.
• Proficiency in French (spoken and written) and functional English to occasionally communicate with an anglophone clientele (5% of the time).
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Own a car for travel.
• Available occasionally for emergency calls in the evenings and on weekends.
