Sample preparation clerk

We are looking for multiple Sample preparation clerks to join our team in Timmins. This essential role is the first step in the geochemical analysis process. You will be responsible for the physical preparation of client rock and soil samples prior to laboratory testing, ensuring the quality and integrity of the samples.

As a Sample preparation clerk specializing in sample preparation, you will be the vital first step in the entire geochemical analysis process. You will handle and prepare client rock and soil samples, ensuring their quality and integrity before they move on to sophisticated laboratory testing. Your commitment to precision and efficiency directly impacts the accuracy of the final analysis, making this role essential to the success of geological exploration and mining support.

We are looking for reliable team players with a commitment to safety and quality. If you have 1-2 years of general labour experience, can comfortably handle a physical workload this is your chance to grow your career.


SCHEDULE:Requires candidates who are flexible with their schedule and able to work both day and night shifts.

working 4 days on and 4 days off, every other weekend off.
12 hour shifts.

Days: 7am - 7:30pm
Nights: 7pm - 7:30am
$20/hr

Responsabilities of the sample preparation clerks :
- Unbagging of soil
- Splitting of rock sample
- Jarring samples
- Palletizing
- Packaging
- Unpackaging


Qualifications
Qualification for the perfect sample preparation clerk:
- 1-2 years of general labour
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to wear respirator
- Must work well within a team
