We are currently seeking a Cook whose primary responsibility will be to support the daily operations of the cafeteria and provide excellent customer service.

What You Will Do

• Set up the cafeteria on a daily basis;

• Prepare and assemble simple dishes and snacks;

• Bake pastries and muffins;

• Prepare breakfast sandwiches and healthy snacks;

• Handle cash register transactions;

• Stock the service area (coffee, utensils, trays, beverages, confectionery, and other products);

• Assist with receiving and organizing orders;

• Perform dishwashing duties;

• Carry out other related tasks as required.

Requirements

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Cooking or a related field;

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role;

• Experience handling cash register transactions (an asset);

• Schedule flexibility (Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 2:30/3:00 p.m., 32 to 35 hours per week).
