Position Overview
The Cardiovascular Technician performs, understands and is knowledgeable in all techniques of cardiology testing including, Holter monitor installation and analysis, stress testing, ECG, BP monitoring, and may include stress echo testing, Holter analysis, neurology EMG testing and some admin duties.

As a pre-condition of employment:
What we are looking for
• College Degree as a Registered Cardiology Technologist or related medical field (i.e. Neurology certification)
• Member of the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience within a Cardio- Service
• Experience in performing ECG, Stress and Holter necessary.
• Experience with Holter analysis, EMG and/or Stress echo preferred.
• Training in neurology, including EEG and EMG, is an asset.
• Effective time management.
• Customer service-oriented approach.
• Interpersonal relations.
• Demonstrated use of infection control practices related to work.
• Ability/experience with clinical administrative software.
• Effective communication in both languages, French and English.
