What are your contributions to the team?
As the Program Analyst, you will be responsible of the management of a portfolio of projects. You will lead internal and external activities between functions while ensuring that all required governance, integration, communication, evaluation and execution of various elements of the Programs are in accordance with the program strategy (customer, quality and business case requirements) and schedule.
In your role, you will :
Own and manage the development and management of the strategies, schedules and budget of your engineering project portfolioManage your project portfolio within the organization of the program office (Plan, Organize, Direct and Control)Create and follow project schedules to meet the Program requirementsLead and facilitate project integration, evaluation and execution with internal and external stakeholdersEvaluate commercial impacts of technical change and prioritize themEnsure the adherence of the Program to budget targets;Prepare profitability analysis and present them to the management teamProvide support and prioritization to team members both internally and externallyControl Program costs (manpower, material and other direct costs), support negotiations with suppliers and other stakeholders in terms of schedule, technical scope and commercial impactLead internal and external governances to provide visibility on your project performance to the stakeholdersWork in a cross-functional environment where you will interact with all management levelsIdentify potential problems. Manage risk and opportunities by mitigating them along with functional teamsCoordinate and ensure quality of governances and ensure schedule adherenceHow to thrive in this role?
As our ideal candidate,
You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred), business management, project management or similar. Additional education and professional certifications would be an asset, e.g. PMIYou have at least three (3) years of direct experience in a similar role in the aerospace industry or a complex manufacturing sector. Five (5) or more years of experience would be an assetYou have knowledge of certification requirements, aircraft systems (preferred), or any other similar manufacturing industryYou possess good communication skills (written and spoken) and the ability to influence different levels of the organization. Good interpersonal and informal leadership skills, i.e. an ability to influence without formal authorityYou can work under pressure and tight deadlines, and still deliver on commitmentsYou master the Microsoft Office suite and a very strong aptitude in data managementYou are customer-oriented and innovative in problem-solvingYou show an open mind and a great ability to work in a teamYou are well organized and show great time management and prioritization skillsYou can work autonomously and are results-driven, and able to make decisions.You can work on site at our Pearson facility in Toronto at least two days per weekKnowledge of French and / or Spanish is an asset but not requiredNow that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!
