AZ / DZ Truck Driver

Location/Address: 818 Jones Road, Kenora, ON

Hours of Work: Full-Time and/or Seasonal

Wage: Competitive and based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily pre-trip inspections in compliance with CVOR/MTO requirements
• Operate vehicles safely and professionally under the Highway Traffic Act
• Secure and manage loads using chains, straps, and tarps as required
• Complete trip sheets, logbooks (if applicable), inspection reports, and delivery documentation
• Report defects, issues, or incidents promptly to supervisors or dispatch
• Maintain professional interactions with customers, residents, and on-site personnel
• Adhere to transportation regulations, safety policies, and company protocols
• Refuel vehicles, top up fluids, and perform basic minor maintenance
• For AZ Drivers: operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and multi-axle setups, including coupling/uncoupling
• For DZ Drivers: operate straight trucks (dump trucks, flatbeds, etc.) and perform loading/unloading as required

Qualifications:

• Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license
• Strong understanding of transportation safety and compliance
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate paperwork
• Professional, team-oriented attitude
• Reliable, safety-focused, and attentive to detail
