Building Structural Technician

Your Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate and verify building structure projects for various sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential).
• Participate in surveys of existing conditions, preparation of plans on Revit, drafting of specifications, cost evaluation and work supervision.
• Participate in or carry out budget estimates and work schedules on projects on which the resource will be assigned.
• Work closely with engineers to develop solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Layout, design and create mock‑ups.
• Participate in or draft various documents, such as reports and cost estimates.
• Participate in internal and external project coordination with multidisciplinary teams and customers.
• Provide technical assistance during construction site work.

Your Profile

• Completion of a vocational diploma in structure‑oriented building design or a college diploma in architectural technology or civil engineering.
• Membership in the Ordre des technologues professionnelles du Québec is an asset.
• Between 5 and 10 years' relevant experience in building structure or in a building engineering firm on similar projects.
• Fluency in French, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in Ms Office 365 suite and REVIT software.
