Job Description
Competent clinical practitioner assisting individuals, groups and families with health‑care needs ranging from uncomplicated to complex and rapidly changing status. Demonstrates a caring approach which reflects and incorporates expertise.
Experience
- 2 years exp in Acute Psych or Comm. Mental Health nursing or a combo of the two.
- Exp in the last 5 years with acute and chronic psychiatric disorders
- Exp in the last 5 years in psychiatric assessment & intervention required
Education
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)
Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Basic CPR, ASSIST preferred
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable
