Development Lead

Overview

Fujitsu Canada is seeking a full-time, permanent Content Migration Specialist to support enterprise-scale Knowledge Management (KM) modernization projects supporting on e of our large Government of Canada clients. This role focuses on content standardization, migration, and AI-assisted transformation aligned with federal compliance and innovation standards.

Location and Work Style

• Location: National Capital Region. (Ottawa/Gatineau).
• Workstyle: Hybrid - Must be prepared to work onsite in Gatineau, QC at least three days per week, with additional days a week if needed.
• Full-time / Permanent - Consultants will become full-time employees of Fujitsu North America's Consulting Team
• Security Clearance: Candidates must currently hold or have ability to qualify for a Government of Canada Security Clearance at the Reliability level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of KM solutions using Microsoft 365 and Copilot integration.
• Oversee implementation of DITA XML and document-as-code practices for structured content management.
• Guide DevSecOps and Azure DevOps pipeline design for secure and automated deployments.
• Architect and manage Azure cloud infrastructure for scalability and compliance.
• Implement containerization strategies for microservices and distributed systems.
• Integrate AI-enabled tools and frameworks to enhance KM capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership in server-side programming and API development.
• Ensure solution architecture aligns with security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality KM solutions.
• Mentor development teams and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

Mandatory Skills

• 5–10 years of experience in software development and solution architecture.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Copilot integration.
• Experience with DITA XML and document-as-code methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies and orchestration platforms.
• Experience integrating AI-enabled tools and frameworks into enterprise solutions.
• Advanced skills in server-side programming (e.g., Python, .NET, or Java).
• Ability to design secure, scalable architectures for KM solutions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with multilingual and accessibility-compliant KM solutions.
• Knowledge of advanced AI/ML techniques for content optimization.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures and cross-platform integrations.
• Previous experience in regulated or government sector environments.

• Must reside in the Gatineau area in Quebec.
