Assistant Management Accountant

Overview

Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts ensuring accuracy
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Support the team in completing month-end and year-end processes, including preparation for audits, preparation of journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and review general ledger entries

About you

• Previous experience working within a transactional finance team
• AAT qualification or actively studying towards
• Good understanding of Excel and accounting systems
• Proactive, self-motivated and keen to develop within a strong team
