Responsibilities

The Job:

The Northern New Brunswick Forest Operations Division is currently seeking a candidate interested in becoming a multifunctional contractor. Operations are located in the Restigouche region of Northern New Brunswick.

  • Follow health, safety, environmental, and quality standards on Crown lands and J.D. Irving, Limited private lands
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with J.D. Irving, Limited’s best operating practices
  • Maintain high productivity throughout the work shift
  • Perform daily equipment maintenance
  • Work various shifts (day, night, and weekends)
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Qualifications

Your Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an operator or contractor
  • Heavy machinery operator certification considered an asset
  • Ability to communicate in French
  • Meets J.D. Irving’s selection criteria
