Your Impact in This Role
As a Forklift Operator, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complete training including SMI safety standards and driving demonstration.
- Operate and inspect forklift daily; report maintenance needs.
- Safely fuel, clean (radiator/air filters), and maintain forklift.
- Load/unload trucks and move materials to designated areas.
- Track material load counts and identify cross-contamination risks.
- Assist with plant maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping.
- Report incidents, environmental hazards, and participate in safety investigations.
- Wear required PPE and follow all safety and operational procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
What You Bring To The Table
- High school degree or equivalent by experience
- Certificate for driving the forklift
- Certificate First Aid
- Technical English – read and understand
