Job Details

We are seeking to hire a dynamic and dedicated Civil Design Engineer to join our vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a leading engineering firm, where you will be responsible for the design and execution of civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will be involved in high-level engineering projects, contributing to the design of infrastructure, creating construction documents, and utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D software. You will have the chance to work with a team of talented professionals and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to design, plan, and supervise construction projects, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
• Carry out detailed design of civil infrastructure, including roads, bridges, water, and wastewater systems.
• Prepare and manage construction documents, including plans, estimates, and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project goals are met.
• Conduct site inspections and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc.) to plan and design projects.
• Ensure project designs comply with various regulations and quality standards.
• Perform risk assessments and propose solutions to technical problems.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress.
• Continually update technical knowledge and skills through various learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in civil design engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
• Extensive experience in the design of civil infrastructure and preparation of construction documents.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent mathematical, design, and engineering skills.
• Strong project management abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• EIT is preferred.
