Position Responsibilities, Accountabilities And Job Duties

• Performing underground mining activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Operating underground mobile equipment and/or hand‑held tools as required
• Installing ground support and following ground control procedures
• Drilling, blasting, mucking, and hauling material as assigned
• Completing development and/or production tasks according to mine plans
• Conducting pre‑operational equipment inspections and reporting deficiencies
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area underground
• Complying with all company policies, procedures, and applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations

Qualifications And Experience

• Previous underground mining experience in one or more of the listed roles is considered an asset
• Valid common core modules for underground mining
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to safely operate underground mining equipment relevant to the role
• Strong understanding of underground safety practices and procedures
• Physically capable of performing manual labor in an underground environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to work rotating shifts in a remote camp environment

Working Conditions / Schedule

Location: Eagle River Mine, near Wawa, ON

Shift / Hours of Work: 10‑hour shifts

Schedule / Rotation: 10/11

Type of Hire: Permanent, full‑time
