Job description

Hamilton Motor Company is a leader in automotive technology, offering premium aftermarket solutions that modernize the driving experience. We sell modules and replacement screens that update the infotainment technology in cars, specializing in Lexus and Toyota vehicles. We distribute to DIY and automotive shop customers across the United States and Canada, as well as Europe. Our customers range from weekend warriors to branded Lexus and Toyota dealership chains. We are known for our quality products and premium support.

This is a full-time fully-remote position handling complex phone calls and emails for customers with technical questions about their aftermarket Hamilton infotainment systems. Customers will call and send email tickets during the day with questions ranging from installation difficulties to software updates. You will be working alongside a dynamic team based in the USA, Canada, and Europe to solve issues and make customers happy. You will also need to coordinate with our Asian-based engineering team for novel solutions to difficult issues.

Who You Are

  • A strong problem solver (solve difficult installation issues from DIY customers)
  • Really calm under pressure (our customers are car people)
  • Experience with electronics/tinkering and/or cars
  • Easy-going (get along well with a remote team and willing to make an effort to keep up with your remote co-workers)

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical-related role.
  • Demonstrable technical support experience and qualifications (ability to pass technical interviews)
  • Strong personal skills
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • IT, electronics, or automotive tech experience (proficiency in solving problems and working with new tech)

Salary and Additional Details

  • 90,000 CAD
  • Additional benefits and salary growth after time spent at company
