Job description
Are you currently looking for the next step in your career? Randstad Canada is currently looking for experienced Accountant to join some of Winnipeg's top firm.

Do you have your CPA designation or working towards it? Do you have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant (public or private practice)?

Are you familiar with the full cycle of accounting and enjoy working with numbers? Do you have superior analytical skills and work well independently but also as part of a team?

Responsibilities
- Responsible for month-end procedures
- Reconciliations (bank accounts and credit cards)
- Oversee AR and AP
- Full-cycle accounting functions
- Communication with clients and other accountants
- Analysis of accounting and financial reports
- Maintain filing system to support accounting and financial records
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- CPA designation or working towards it
- 3+ years of experience as an accountant in public or private practice
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior understanding of general accounting principles
- Great computer skills (MS Office, Excel and other computerized accounting systems)
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
