Job Title: School Cafeteria ManagerLocation: Quispamsis, NBWork Type: PermanentSalary: $19.25 an hourVacancy: Existing vacancyOur client is looking for an independent, reliable School Cafeteria Manager to run the lunch program at a French school in Quispamsis, NB. This is a vital role where you would be serving nutritious meals to students from primary through high school. They need someone who can start immediately. The School Cafeteria Manager is responsible for preparing, cooking, serving, and cleaning up lunch for approximately 100 students each day. This is a solo position, ideal for someone who is organized, self‑directed, and comfortable managing a kitchen independently.What You'll Do
  • Prepare, cook, and serve daily lunch for ~100 students
  • Follow recipe guides, schedules, and food safety expectations
  • Ensure food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
  • Monitor food stock and place orders as needed to ensure freshness
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations
  • Work independently and efficiently
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in commercial kitchens or formal culinary training (Required)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable preparing meals at scale
  • Clean criminal record (must be eligible to work around children)
  • Basic computer use for ordering and communication (Training provided)
  • Bilingualism is an asset, not a requirement
  • WHMIS not required but considered an asset
