Social Media Specialist Remote (Canada)

The Social Media Specialist will drive customer engagement across the major social channels by strategizing and executing our social media goals. You will be responsible for creating posting and responding to our new and existing clients on various social media platforms. Educate existing and new consumers on insurance by engaging them through customer service excellence sharing our story and supporting our stellar brand experience.

Your success will stem from your ability to adopt the voice and vision of our brand to grow brand awareness among the communities that we work in and in major centers. Respond to consumers across social platforms in a timely and engaged manner. You will have the opportunity to be a part of a team that is creative passionate and energetic who allcontribute to the business goals of increasing business and revenue growth including generating high-quality leads through strategic engagement.

Here is what a typical day looks like

  • Plan create and publish engaging organic social media content across key platforms
  • Develop launch and optimize paid social advertising campaigns to drive awareness leads and conversions
  • Write compelling ad copy and collaborate on creative assets that align with brand guidelines
  • Monitor campaign performance analyze results and continuously test new audiences creatives and formats
  • Manage social media calendars and ensure consistent timely posting
  • Track KPIs and prepare performance insights and recommendations
  • Stay current on social media trends platform updates and best practices

The value you bring

  • Post secondary education in Marketing New Media or related field
  • 5 years of experience managing social media channels
  • Experience successfully launching and optimizing social campaigns to drive awareness traffic leads and/or conversions.
  • Experience building paid media channels and executing brandawareness and leadgeneration campaigns across platforms including Google Ads LinkedIn Ads and Reddit Ads.
  • Strong grasp of core social KPIs and ability to analyze performance extract insights and make datadriven recommendations
