FX Risk IT Support - Business/Support Analyst

Job Description:

Requirement/Must Have:

• Hands-on experience supporting FX trading applications.
• Strong knowledge of FX products including Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDFs, and FX Options.
• Solid understanding of PnL and Risk Management concepts including VaR and sensitivities.
• Experience supporting systems in Windows Server environments including Windows services, IIS, and scheduled tasks.
• Experience supporting UNIX-based systems with ability to navigate and understand shell or scripting logic.
• Strong SQL skills with ability to write queries and understand stored procedures.
• Experience supporting batch processing systems.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets and fixed income products.

Experience:

• Experience working in Support Analyst or Operations Analyst roles within trading environments.
• Experience supporting front-office or e-trading applications on linear products.
• Experience supporting trading room environments.
• Experience with application production support and incident management.

Responsibilities:

• Build strong working relationships with FX trading, risk, and operations teams.
• Provide high-quality daily user support and timely resolution of production incidents.
• Coordinate with global IT support teams to ensure seamless handovers and coverage.
• Take ownership of production issues, propose solutions, and track follow-ups to prevent recurrence.
• Perform proactive monitoring of systems to identify issues before business impact.
• Enforce change management procedures to maintain production stability.
• Collaborate with development teams for advanced production support.
• Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and regulatory compliance exercises.
• Produce periodic operational and IT reports.
• Maintain system and process documentation and provide user training.
• Ensure team cross-training to reduce key-person dependencies.

Should Have:

• Knowledge of capital markets regulatory environments.
• Experience with front-office booking systems.
• Ability to contribute as a Business Analyst on small projects when required.

Qualification And Education:

• Degree in Market Finance or Information Technology with strong knowledge of capital markets and fixed income products.
