Job description

Job Listing: Quality Assurance Supervisor

At Sodexo Live!, we take pride in crafting exceptional events at the most prestigious venues on the planet and creating lasting memories for fans, visitors, guests and team members. Working with Sodexo Live! is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater. Here, you'll build a career where 'everyday' is anything but normal.

Our experiences are unique, and so are our people. Bring your personality, your background and your desire to delight others. In return, we'll give you all you need to thrive. After giving it all, you'll return home knowing that you've played your part in creating a truly unforgettable moment.

Location: We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor for the BC Place Stadium.

Sodexo Live! is the Official Supplier of Food and Beverage Services to BC Place Stadium. BC Place is a multi-purpose stadium in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Located at the north side of False Creek, it is owned and operated by the BC Pavilion Corporation, a Crown corporation of the province. Home to BC Lions, Vancouver White Caps, Concerts and Live events, the facility hosts welcomes hundreds of thousands of fans each year, while generating significant economic activity for the Province.

Job Overview:

The Quality Assurance Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that all food and beverage production across BC Place meets the stadium's standards for safety, consistency, and guest experience. This dual-reporting position supports both the Culinary and Concessions teams with a focus on operational compliance, sanitation, and continuous improvement. The Quality Assurance Supervisor actively monitors event operations, conducts inspections and audits, and helps drive best practices in food handling, product holding, and service execution throughout all kitchens, concessions, suites, and club environments.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with FoodSafe, WorkSafe BC, and internal safety policies.
  • Conduct routine inspections of concession outlets, kitchens, storage areas, and equipment.
  • Verify accurate temperature logs, product rotation, labeling, and allergen controls.
  • Support corrective actions and follow-up to address non-compliance or audit findings.
  • Evaluate food presentation, portioning, holding quality, and guest-facing standards during live events.
  • Support consistency across all locations, ensuring adherence to recipes and display standards.
  • Provide feedback to both Culinary and Concessions leadership to maintain a premium food experience.
  • Assist in onboarding and continuous training for concession culinary and front-of-house teams in food safety, hygiene, and product guidelines.
  • Coach staff on proper handling practices during pre-opening and service checks.
  • Help build a positive food safety culture through coaching rather than policing.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records, temperature logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Develop dashboards and summaries for leadership to track improvements and trends.
  • Participate in audits and readiness checks for major events (e.g., FIFA 2026).
  • Conduct opening and closing walkthroughs on event days to verify readiness and compliance.
  • Support rollouts of new menus, equipment, technology, and service procedures.
  • Collaborate with Stewarding to ensure cleanliness standards and sanitation schedules are met.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 3–5 years in a food service operation, quality assurance, supervisory culinary, or concession food environment (stadium/hospitality preferred).
  • Valid Food Safe Level 2 (or ability to obtain within first 90 days).
  • Strong working knowledge of HACCP principles, allergen protocols, and food safety legislation.
  • Ability to lead through influence - strong communication skills and coaching ability.
  • Capable of working in fast-paced, high-volume environments with an event-based schedule (evenings/weekends/holidays).
  • Experience with digital compliance systems and documentation processes an asset.

Other Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.
  • Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Thank you for expressing interest in employment with Sodexo Live!. While only those candidates considered for this position will be contacted, your resume will remain on file for 90 days.

Sodexo Live! is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, genetic information, status as a protected veteran or status as a qualified individual with a disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable Federal, State or Local law.
