Job description

Head of Performance Revenue Location: Onsite - Montreal | Remote US Summary: We are seeking a Head of Performance Revenue to own and scale performance-driven revenue across Valnet and Valserv.

This is a senior, director-level role for a performance marketing leader with deep experience in lead generation and monetization, ideally within the insurance and/or mortgage space.

You will be responsible for maximizing monetization efficiency, optimizing yield, and driving sustainable revenue growth across advertising, affiliate, and other performance-based channels.

Sitting at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution, you will act as a player/coach—setting direction while remaining hands-on with paid campaigns, analysis, and gap coverage as needed.

You will lead cross-functional efforts with editorial, product, ad ops, and partnerships to turn traffic into predictable, high-performing revenue.

  • Key Responsibilities Revenue Strategy & Ownership Own performance revenue targets and forecasts across applicable channels (paid media, affiliate, lead generation, performance ad formats, etc.) Develop and execute strategies to improve RPMs, yield, and lead monetization efficiency Identify new revenue opportunities, formats, and partners aligned with performance goals Performance Optimization Monitor and analyze revenue performance, traffic trends, and monetization KPIs Run tests and experiments to optimize placements, formats, layouts, and demand sources Drive continuous improvement through data-backed decision-making Cross-Functional Leadership Act as a player/coach, setting direction while remaining hands-on in execution Partner closely with teams to align content and product strategy with revenue performance Influence content and traffic strategies through revenue insights without compromising editorial integrity Partner & Platform Management Manage and grow relationships with key monetization partners, networks, and platforms Leverage existing industry relationships and develop new partnerships within the insurance and mortgage ecosystem Negotiate commercial terms and evaluate partner performance Stay ahead of industry trends, policy changes, and platform updates impacting revenue Reporting & Insights Build and maintain clear dashboards and reporting frameworks for executive leadership Communicate performance insights, risks, and opportunities in a clear and actionable way Establish benchmarks and success metrics across brands and properties Qualifications Required 5-10 years of experience in performance revenue, digital monetization, ad tech, or a related field Proven track record of driving revenue growth in a high-traffic digital environment Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using analytics and monetization tools Deep understanding of performance-based monetization models (programmatic, affiliate, CPA/CPC, etc.) Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority Preferred Experience in digital publishing or large-scale content platforms Familiarity with SEO-driven traffic and content monetization strategies Experience managing teams or senior individual contributors Strong negotiation and partner management experience Benefits: Full health insurance plan (including medical, dental, and vision).

Ce rôle de niveau direction s’adresse à un(e) leader en marketing de performance possédant une solide expérience en génération de leads et en monétisation, idéalement dans les secteurs de l’assurance et/ou du prêt hypothécaire.

La personne sera responsable d’optimiser le rendement, l’efficacité de la monétisation et la croissance durable des revenus à travers les canaux publicitaires, d’affiliation et autres canaux à la performance, en collaboration étroite avec les équipes produit, contenu et partenariats.

Responsabilités principales : Stratégie et responsabilité des revenus Être responsable des objectifs et des prévisions de revenus de performance à travers les canaux applicables (médias payants, affiliation, génération de leads, formats publicitaires à la performance, etc.) Développer et exécuter des stratégies visant à améliorer les RPM, le rendement et l’efficacité de la monétisation des leads Identifier de nouvelles opportunités de revenus, formats et partenaires alignés avec les objectifs de performance Optimisation de la performance Suivre et analyser la performance des revenus, les tendances de trafic et les indicateurs clés de monétisation Mener des tests et des expérimentations afin d’optimiser les emplacements, formats, mises en page et sources de demande Favoriser l’amélioration continue grâce à une prise de décision basée sur les données Leadership transversal Agir comme player-coach, en définissant l’orientation stratégique tout en restant impliqué(e) dans l’exécution Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes afin d’aligner les stratégies de contenu et de produit avec la performance des revenus Influencer les stratégies de contenu et de trafic grâce aux insights revenus, sans compromettre l’intégrité éditoriale Gestion des partenaires et des plateformes Gérer et développer les relations avec les partenaires clés de monétisation, réseaux et plateformes Tirer parti des relations existantes dans l’industrie et développer de nouveaux partenariats dans l’écosystème de l’assurance et du prêt hypothécaire Négocier les conditions commerciales et évaluer la performance des partenaires Rester à l’affût des tendances de l’industrie, des changements de politiques et des mises à jour des plateformes ayant un impact sur les revenus Rapports et analyses Concevoir et maintenir des tableaux de bord et des cadres de rapports clairs pour la direction Communiquer les performances, les risques et les opportunités de façon claire et actionnable Qualifications : Exigées 5 à 10 ans d’expérience en revenus de performance, monétisation numérique, ad tech ou domaine connexe Antécédents démontrés de croissance des revenus dans des environnements numériques à fort trafic Excellentes compétences analytiques avec une expérience pratique des outils d’analyse et de monétisation Solide compréhension des modèles de monétisation basés sur la performance (programmatique, affiliation, CPA/CPC, etc.) Expérience en leadership transversal et capacité d’influencer des parties prenantes sans autorité directe Atouts Expérience en édition numérique ou sur des plateformes de contenu à grande échelle Connaissance des stratégies de monétisation de contenu et de trafic axées sur le SEO Expérience en gestion d’équipes ou de contributeurs seniors Excellentes compétences en négociation et en gestion de partenariats Avantages : Régime complet d’assurance collective (médicale, dentaire et vision) Collations et café offerts quotidiennement sur place Programme de remboursement pour abonnement de conditionnement physique Rémunération compétitive et structure de bonification Fondé sur la confiance Chez Iron Corp , nous opérons avec une confiance inébranlable, maintenons les plus hauts standards d’intégrité et livrons des performances constantes.
