Your new role
As the Electrical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for delivering multiple electrical construction projects. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial handoff through planning, procurement, scheduling, and field coordination, all the way to financial management and closeout. Day to day, you will work closely with administrators and the general superintendent to ensure work ispleted safely, efficiently, and in line with project timelines and budgets. You will maintain strongmunication with general contractors, site supervisors, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring expectations are aligned and issues are resolved quickly. You will also manage RFIs, change orders, monthly billings, progress reporting, and all documentation required to keep projects on track and profitable.
What you'll need to succeed
Success in this role requires at least three years of project management experience inmercial electrical construction and the ability to manage several projects at once. You should have a solid understanding of contracts, scopes, budgets, and scheduling, along with the discipline to stay on top of details and maintain tight control over deliverables. Strongmunication skills are essential, particularly when working with subtrades, field teams, and GC site supervisors. The ideal candidate is someone who can navigate change orders, protect margins, and remain steady and professional when challenges arise on site
