JOB OVERVIEW
The Plating Shop Technician (Chemist) reports to the Repair Shop Supervisor and is responsible for the efficient operation of the Plating Shop. Our Plating Shop has approximately 30 tanks which are used for various electroplating processes for cadmium, chrome, nickel and chemical conversion of aluminum.
The Plating Shop Technician (Chemist) Maintains/controls the Plating shop Wastewater treatment Plant. Provides technical knowledge in all aspects of Wastewater Treatment. Training will be provided to the incumbent, which may involve some initial travel.
