Job description
We are urgently looking for a caring female Personal Support Worker / companion to help my 41 year old daughter here in Oakville. She is affected with Cerebral Palsy, and is a non-verbal quadriplegic who uses a speech device to communicate. We need someone who can be a dynamic companion, who can create opportunities get out into the community and have fun, and also can be a PSW for all her personal needs. A full clean driving licence is needed. The job Description includes •Companionship and community activities (shopping, movies, lunch withfriends, trips to different venues, concerts, etc.) •Be creative in event scheduling •most importantly …. having fun and being a great dynamic companion. •assistance with personal hygiene needs, •perform lifts with ceiling lift and transfers, •assistance with nutrition •light housekeeping •co-ordination and transport of my daughter via our wheelchair van At this time we are looking for someone multiple days every week.
