Job description

Our client is a premier multi-unit retail and service organization in Canada, currently managing 100's locations with aggressive plans to triple their footprint in the coming years. They view themselves as "architects" of a unique corporate culture, fostering an environment where team members are empowered to achieve their full potential.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a high-energy Digital Marketing Manager to lead digital and social marketing initiatives for a globally recognized brand. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will manage paid advertising, influencer leadership, and specialized platform promotions. This role is designed for a results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys working autonomously within a collaborative team.

What you will do for our client:
  • Paid Media & Strategy: You will support paid digital marketing campaigns by refining media buys and developing strategic content designed to drive engagement and break through the clutter.
  • Influencer Leadership: You will spearhead influencer-related campaigns to expand brand reach and drive awareness.
  • Social Media Management: You will oversee all social media channels, including content creation, post scheduling, community management, and audience engagement.
  • Brand Adaptation: You will collaborate with international partners to leverage and adapt high-performing global content for the local market.
  • Operational & HR Support: You will partner with internal HR and Operations teams to execute paid digital advertising strategies for high-volume recruitment and hiring needs.
  • Growth Strategies: You will brainstorm and execute creative traffic growth strategies for local markets to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Data & Analytics: You will synthesize digital, social media, and competitive market data into actionable insights, key learnings, and comprehensive KPI reporting.
  • Executive Collaboration: You will work with senior leadership to determine sales goals and promotional objectives, preparing executive presentations as required.
What you will need to succeed:
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic design (Adobe Creative Suite) and strong professional copywriting skills are essential.
  • Digital Proficiency: Solid knowledge of website analytics tools and social media management platforms.
  • Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate programs both qualitatively and quantitatively.
  • Organizational Prowess: Strong planning abilities to manage the complexity of multiple input sources, juggle competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a high-growth environment.
  • Growth Mindset: A strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous self-improvement and learning.
  • Industry Background: Previous experience in a fast-paced retail, multi-unit, or consumer-facing industry is considered a strong asset.
The salary range for this role is $85K to $90K/year. All applications are reviewed by real people — we do not use AI or automated screening tools in our recruitment process.
